Honeywell Galaxy 3 Series Alarm Control Panel
The Honeywell G3 series of Alarm panels are well established as the industry standard for protecting multiple sites, store locations used in Shopping Malls, Supermarkets and Industrial locations. Due to the advancing complexity of the embedded software an Automated System for testing the full functionality of these systems was required. BKT together with it's software testing partners Merit (Scotland) were commissioned to design and deliver an ATE solution capable of rapidly running all the statutory DD223 tests during a development cycle.
Proj01.JPG (121971 bytes) The DSM unit is capable of simulating upto 12 zones or PIR sensors. Sensors can by simulated in 4 modes Open, Closed, Short Circuit and Open Circuit

 
The DSM unit has it's own Virtual Instrument Panel software and can be instructed by external third party software. The overall schematic for the design is illustrated below.
